Cast Iron 3500 RPM 5.5" Semi-Open Impeller

A Semi-Open Impeller is a versatile pump component that features vanes attached to a single shroud on one side, with the other side remaining open to the pump casing. This hybrid design strikes a balance between the high efficiency of an enclosed impeller and the solids-handling capability of an open impeller. It is engineered to manage liquids containing small to moderate amounts of suspended solids, stringy materials, or gentle abrasives, making it a robust and adaptable solution for wastewater, industrial process, and certain slurry applications.

While slightly less efficient than a fully enclosed design, the semi-open impeller offers superior resistance to clogging and is easier to clean and maintain.
